**CHESTER, Pa. (February 18, 2025)** – The Philadelphia Union have made a major splash in the transfer market, signing Uruguayan forward Bruno Damiani to a record-breaking deal. The 22-year-old joins the Union on a guaranteed four-year contract, with an option for a fifth, after a successful stint with Nacional in Uruguay’s Primera División.
The acquisition of Damiani, a 6’2″ striker, represents a significant investment for the club. Sporting Director Ernst Tanner lauded Damiani’s “proven ability to dominate in the final third,” highlighting his physicality, clinical finishing, and relentless attacking style.
