**Mumbai, India** – Italian motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia has officially launched its new Tuono 457 in the Indian market. The launch event was attended by brand ambassador and actor John Abraham. Based on the same platform as its faired sibling, the RS 457, the Tuono 457 is priced at ₹3.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings are open, with deliveries expected to commence in March.

The Tuono 457 boasts an attractive design, featuring a compact, bug-eyed LED headlamp with connected DRLs at the front. While sharing a similar fuel tank design with the RS 457, the Tuono 457 offers a distinct streetfighter aesthetic.

This motorcycle is powered by a 457cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine generating 46.9 bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission. Features include a 5.0-inch TFT color display with Bluetooth connectivity, and three riding modes: Eco, Sport, and Rain. Suspension comprises preload-adjustable USD forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. Braking is handled by disc brakes on both wheels. The bike, weighing just 156 kg, rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 will compete with models like the Triumph Speed 400, Harley Davidson X440, and KTM Duke 390 in the Indian market.
