**Kannur, February 18, 2025** – Victims of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund scam staged a protest march in Kannur on Monday, demanding the arrest of those involved. The protestors, identifying themselves as “Kannur Seed Woman on Fire,” accused the police of protecting the accused and called for the immediate filing of additional cases.
The march, beginning at Stadium Corner, concluded near the District Police Chief’s office where a sit-in protest was held. T. Premaja, a victim of the scam, inaugurated the demonstration. She stated that the scam involved members of various political parties, which is why the protestors chose to remain non-partisan in their demonstration. The police stopped the march before it reached the District Police Chief’s office.
