**Visakhapatnam, February 17, 2025** – NCC Limited, a construction and infrastructure company, has completed a significant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project, providing twelve free, two-bedroom flats to the descendants of Gam Gantam Dora, a freedom fighter who fought alongside Alluri Sitarama Raju. The flats, located in Lanka Veedhi, Battapanuka of Koyyuru mandal in Alluri Seetharama Raju District, Andhra Pradesh, were built at a cost of ₹2.5 crore on land provided by the Andhra Pradesh government.
The initiative fulfills a pledge made by NCC Limited’s Chairman Emeritus, A.V.S. Raju, who was honored by President Draupadi Murmu during Alluri Sitarama Raju’s 125th birth anniversary celebrations in July 2023. The project aims to improve the living conditions of the marginalized tribal community.
The two-block complex features six flats per floor across three floors, offering comfortable and functional living spaces. NCC Managing Director A.A.V. Ranga Raju expressed the company’s pride in contributing to the betterment of these families. The company states this project is part of a broader CSR commitment to uplift underprivileged communities.
