Mon Feb 17 20:52:35 UTC 2025: ## Chhaava’s Box Office Roar Subsides on Monday

**Mumbai, February 18** – Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama, *Chhaava*, experienced a significant drop in box office earnings on Monday, its fourth day in theaters. While the film had a phenomenal weekend, amassing an estimated ₹134.94 crore India net, Monday’s collection plummeted to ₹18.44 crore, representing a decrease of over 50% compared to Sunday’s ₹48.5 crore high.

The film’s impressive opening day collection of ₹31 crore, surpassing both *Tanhaji* and *Kesari*’s opening day numbers, had set high expectations. *Chhaava* even reached the ₹100 crore mark within its first three days. However, Monday’s reduced footfalls, reflected in a 26.34% Hindi occupancy rate, indicate a slowdown in audience interest.

Despite the dip, *Chhaava* has already outperformed other recent Bollywood historical films like *Kesari* and *Tanhaji*, cementing its place as a box office success. Following the weekend’s strong performance, a grateful Vicky Kaushal visited Mumbai’s Babulnath Temple. (All figures sourced from Sacnilk).
