**New Delhi:** The swearing-in ceremony for Delhi’s new Chief Minister, initially scheduled for 4:30 PM on February 20th, has been moved to 11:00 AM on the same day. The venue, Ramlila Maidan, remains unchanged. While preparations are underway, the name of the new CM is yet to be officially announced. A BJP legislature party meeting on February 19th is expected to reveal the chosen candidate.

Security will be tight, with roads leading to Ramlila Maidan closed from the evening of February 19th, allowing only VVIP access. The ceremony is expected to draw a large crowd, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, over 50 high-security dignitaries, 20 state Chief Ministers, all Union Ministers, and NDA leaders.

A star-studded event is anticipated, with over 50 film celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Vivek Oberoi, Hema Malini, and Kailash Kher scheduled to attend. Prominent industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, along with spiritual leaders Baba Ramdev, Swami Chidanand, and Baba Bageshwar Dheerendra Shastri, are also expected to be present. Around 30,000 guests, including BJP workers from other states, “Ladli Bahans” (beneficiaries of a women’s empowerment scheme), farmers, and NDA allies, will be invited.

Several names are circulating as potential candidates for the Chief Minister’s post, including: Pravesh Verma (who defeated Arvind Kejriwal), Ashish Sood, Rekha Gupta, Vijender Gupta, Satish Upadhyay, Jitendra Mahajan, and Shikha Roy. The final decision rests with the BJP leadership.
