**Sonipat, Haryana, February 17, 2025** – Two students of Ashoka University in Haryana were found dead on Friday, February 14, 2025, in separate and unrelated incidents, police confirmed on Sunday.
One student, a 21-year-old from Bengaluru, was suspected to have died by suicide after falling from an upper floor of the university hostel. Police are investigating, and a suicide note was reportedly recovered from the student’s room.
The second student, hailing from Telangana, was found unconscious near the university gate and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Initial reports suggest cardiac arrest as a possible cause of death.
Both bodies were sent for post-mortem examinations. Ashoka University issued a statement expressing profound sorrow and offering condolences to the families, stating they are providing full support and cooperating with authorities in the ongoing investigations.
