**Hyderabad, February 17, 2025** – MIDHANI, a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has significantly boosted tuberculosis (TB) detection and patient support in Hyderabad. The company donated a ₹16.55 lakh TRUENAT machine to the Institute of Preventive Medicine, Narayanguda, to facilitate faster diagnosis and treatment. Simultaneously, MIDHANI provided nutritional kits to 1,500 TB patients, representing a ₹66.91 lakh investment under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The kits will provide essential nutritional support for six months. The donation ceremony was attended by MIDHANI’s Chairman and Managing Director in-charge, N. Gowri Sankara Rao, along with other senior officials and representatives from the Institute of Preventive Medicine. This initiative is expected to play a crucial role in combating TB in the region.
