Mon Feb 17 16:42:28 UTC 2025: ## Aprilia Launches Affordable Tuono 457 in India

**New Delhi, India –** Aprilia has entered the Indian market with a new budget-friendly motorcycle, the Tuono 457, priced at ₹3.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This marks the Italian manufacturer’s most affordable offering in India, undercutting its sibling, the RS 457, by ₹25,000.

The Tuono 457 boasts a distinctive design, differentiating itself from its larger siblings. It features a central LED headlight with flanking LED DRLs, and eschews large fairings for a naked bike aesthetic. Available in Piranha Red and Puma Grey, the bike is powered by a 457cc parallel-twin engine, producing 46.9bhp and 43.5Nm of torque. A six-speed gearbox is standard, with an optional quickshifter available.

Technological features include all-LED lighting, traction control, multiple ride modes, switchable ABS, and a Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display. Suspension consists of preload-adjustable USD forks and a monoshock, while braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels.

While offering a compelling package, the Tuono 457 sits at a higher price point than competitors such as the KTM 390 Duke (₹2.95 lakh) and Yamaha MT-03 (₹3.50 lakh). However, Aprilia aims to attract buyers with its blend of performance, features, and Italian styling.
