**Bangalore, India –** Aprilia has officially launched its highly anticipated Tuono 457 naked streetfighter motorcycle in India, priced at Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom). This undercuts its fully-faired sibling, the RS 457, by Rs 25,000. Bookings opened today via the Aprilia India website for a token amount of Rs 12,000, with test rides and deliveries commencing next month.

The launch event in Bangalore was attended by Diego Graffi, Chairman and MD of Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd, and Aprilia India brand ambassador John Abraham. The Tuono 457 boasts a distinctive, aggressive streetfighter design, differentiating itself from its larger Tuono siblings with a pure naked aesthetic, flat handlebars, and striking twin LED headlamps. Available in Piranha Red and Puma Grey, the bike features a 5-inch TFT digital instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity, offering navigation, music playback, and call/text alerts.

Equipped with a 457cc parallel-twin engine producing 46.9 bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque, the Tuono 457 shares its platform with the RS 457. Rider aids include traction control, a ride-by-wire throttle, three riding modes (Eco, Sport, Rain), and a bi-directional quickshifter. Suspension consists of 41mm upside-down forks and a rear mono-shock, while braking is handled by 320mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.

The Tuono 457 represents Aprilia’s latest entry into the competitive Indian middleweight motorcycle market, offering a compelling blend of performance, style, and technology at a competitive price point.
