**Vadodara, India –** The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 season kicks off with a bang on February 14th, featuring a star-studded opening ceremony spread over two days. The tournament, running from February 14th to March 15th across Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai, will see Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana perform during the mid-innings break of the opening match between defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Gujarat Giants (GG) at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara.

The festivities continue on February 15th with a performance by renowned singer Madhubanti Bagchi during the mid-innings break of the match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC). Both matches begin at 7:30 PM IST, with the performances expected around 9 PM IST or earlier, depending on the pace of play.

On the field, RCB, led by Smriti Mandhana and boasting a strong lineup including Ellyse Perry, Richa Ghosh, Shreyanka Patil, and Renuka Singh Thakur, will look to defend their title.
