**Mumbai, India** – The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the highly anticipated schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Sunday. The tournament, spanning 65 days across 13 venues, will feature 74 matches.

The opening match will see defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on March 22nd. The final will also be held at Eden Gardens on May 25th. The league stage runs from March 22nd to May 18th, with the playoffs scheduled from May 20th to May 25th.

The schedule reveals some intriguing matchups. Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore will meet only once, on April 7th at the Wankhede Stadium. Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will face off twice – in Chennai on March 28th and in Bangalore on May 3rd.
