**New Delhi, February 16** – The full schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season was released today. The tournament will kick off on March 22nd with a highly anticipated clash between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The final match is set for May 25th, also at the Eden Gardens.
This year’s IPL will feature 74 matches across 65 days, played by 10 teams at 13 venues across India. Twelve double-header matches, featuring two games on the same day, are scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays, offering fans a double dose of cricket action. The first double-header will take place on March 23rd, with Sunrisers Hyderabad facing Rajasthan Royals in the afternoon and Chennai Super Kings battling Mumbai Indians in the evening.
Afternoon matches will begin at 3:30 PM, while evening matches will start at 7:30 PM. Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will be held in Hyderabad, while Qualifier 2 and the final will be played in Kolkata.
