**Mumbai, India** – The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the highly anticipated schedule for the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The 18th edition of the tournament will commence on March 22nd, 2025, with a clash between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The final is set for May 25th, 2025.

A total of 74 matches will be played across 13 venues, featuring 12 double-header days with afternoon matches starting at 3:30 PM IST and evening matches at 7:30 PM IST. The schedule includes intriguing early matchups like Sunrisers Hyderabad versus Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings against Mumbai Indians.

Several teams will play home games across multiple venues. Delhi Capitals will split their home matches between Visakhapatnam and New Delhi, while Rajasthan Royals will use both Guwahati and Jaipur. Punjab Kings will play home games in New Chandigarh and Dharamsala.
