**Mumbai, February 15** – Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar, son of veteran actors Raj Babbar and the late Smita Patil, married his longtime girlfriend Priya Banerjee on Valentine’s Day in a private ceremony at his late mother’s home. The intimate wedding, attended by close friends and family, featured traditional pre-wedding festivities and a pheras ceremony. The couple shared photos on social media, captioning them, “I’ll marry you in every lifetime #priyaKAprateik.”
However, the joyous occasion was overshadowed by a family rift. Prateik’s stepbrother, Arya Babbar, revealed to ETimes that none of the Babbar family, including their father Raj Babbar, were invited to the wedding. Arya expressed confusion and hurt, stating that he believed he and Prateik were close. He speculated that outside influences may have played a role in the decision, adding, “Life is no less than a film; someone in the house is influencing him.” While understanding Prateik’s potential reluctance to invite his stepmother, Nadira Babbar, Arya expressed disappointment that his father was excluded.
