**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, February 15, 2025** – Samajwadi Party MP Afzal Ansari has been implicated in a First Information Report (FIR) for allegedly making offensive remarks against the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. The FIR was filed on Friday, February 14th, at the Shadiabad police station in Ghazipur, based on a complaint lodged by Dev Prakash Singh. Singh alleges that Ansari made the objectionable comments during a Sant Ravidas birth anniversary event on February 12th. The charges against Ansari are currently under investigation.
