Sat Feb 15 11:16:10 UTC 2025: ## Central Government Expedites Resolution of Infrastructure Bottlenecks in Gujarat and Rajasthan

**New Delhi, February 15, 2025** – The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) held a meeting on Saturday to address 21 issues hindering 14 major infrastructure projects in Gujarat and Rajasthan. The projects, with a combined cost exceeding ₹13,162 crore, include significant renewable energy and telecommunications initiatives.

The meeting, chaired by DPIIT Secretary Amardeep Bhatia, brought together central and state government officials, as well as project representatives. The focus was on streamlining inter-ministerial and state coordination to expedite issue resolution through the Project Monitoring Group (PMG).

Notable projects reviewed include the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat, projected to generate 81 billion units of clean electricity annually, and Reliance Jio’s 5G/4G expansion project. The DPIIT Secretary urged all relevant authorities to proactively address outstanding issues. The meeting also addressed seven issues related to a separate private project worth ₹600 crore. This proactive approach aims to accelerate the development of crucial infrastructure across the two states.
