**New Delhi, February 14, 2025** – The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced today it will prioritize students taking the CBSE Board exams, beginning February 15th. To ease the commute for the approximately 330,000 students and thousands of school staff using the metro, DMRC, in partnership with the CISF, will implement special measures at metro stations.
These measures include expedited security checks and ticketing for students presenting their admit cards. DMRC staff have already visited schools to inform principals about nearby stations and available support. Centralized announcements will also guide students. A comprehensive list of metro stations closest to exam centers is available on the DMRC website and mobile app.
The CBSE Board exams for classes 10 and 12 run from February 15th to April 4th, with nearly 42 lakh students expected to participate across 7,842 centers nationwide and internationally. The DMRC’s initiative aims to ensure a smooth and stress-free journey for students during this crucial period.
