**KALABURAGI, February 15, 2025** – Bidar police have made a significant breakthrough in the January 16th ATM robbery that resulted in the death of a cash custodian and the theft of ₹83 lakh. Two suspects, Aman Kumar Rajkishore Singh and Alok Kumar (also known as Ashutosh Shatrughan Prasad Singh), both residents of Vaishali district, Bihar, have been identified.

The incident occurred at Shivaji Chowk in Bidar when two assailants on a motorcycle opened fire on employees of Cash Management Services (CMS) refilling an ATM. Cash custodian Giri Venkatesh was killed, and another employee, Shivakumar, critically injured.

Following an intensive investigation involving analysis of CCTV footage and witness interviews, police identified the suspects, who are reportedly linked to other robberies in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, and elsewhere. Police interrogated family members and distributed “wanted” posters across Bihar, offering a ₹5 lakh reward for information leading to their arrests. The investigation is ongoing.
