Sat Feb 15 11:31:53 UTC 2025: ## Andhra Pradesh CM Inaugurates New Recycling Facility

**Nellore, Andhra Pradesh –** Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated a new 25-tonne per day material recycling facility centre (MRFC) in Dubagunta on Saturday. The facility, established by Vizianagaram-based Kandi Mineral Technology Pvt. Ltd. at a cost of ₹45 lakh, is designed to process non-recyclable waste.

The inauguration was part of the CM’s participation in the Swarnandhra-Swachhandhra program in SPSR Nellore district. Naidu personally inspected the facility’s operations, offering suggestions to the staff. He was accompanied by Minister for Municipal Administration Ponguru Narayana, Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, and Kandukur MLA Inturi Nageswara Rao.

During his visit, Naidu also toured Dubagunta village, observing sanitation programs and interacting with residents. He inquired about waste segregation practices in several homes and commended a resident’s water conservation efforts. The CM even intervened to increase the pension of a senior citizen from ₹4,000 to ₹6,000 per month. He spent time engaging with local women and children, even taking selfies with them.

The Chief Minister concluded his visit at the Kandukur Agricultural Market Committee, where he met with representatives from NGOs and local residents, inspecting stalls set up in the area.
