Sat Feb 15 14:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Family Members Arrested for Murder Disguised as Accident
**GADVWAL, [Date]** – Police have arrested seven individuals, including the victim’s own family members, for the murder of Ramesh (26) of Tangala village, whose death was initially reported as a road accident. The incident occurred on the night of the 12th of this month near Maddur Stage, falling under the Shanti Nagar police station limits.
Ramesh’s wife, Chandrakala, filed a complaint expressing suspicion surrounding her husband’s death, prompting a thorough investigation. Police determined that Ramesh’s death was not accidental but a premeditated murder. Investigations revealed a long-standing family feud over land between Ramesh, his brothers Mahesh and Gopi, and his parents. A previous attempt by Ramesh to murder Mahesh fueled the conflict.
To carry out the murder, the family conspired with Boya Narasimhulu from Gattu mandal and two others, Timmappa and Nagendra. On the night of the 12th, Ramesh was traveling with his uncle Sudhakar to Alampur when they were intentionally hit by a Bolero vehicle near Maddur Stage. Mahesh and Narasimhulu immediately attacked Ramesh with hunting axes before fleeing the scene.
Superintendent of Police Srinivasa Rao announced the arrests at a press conference on Friday. The seven accused were apprehended, and police seized a car, three hunting axes, and four cell phones. The SP commended the police team for their swift and effective investigation. The case highlights a tragic consequence of family disputes and underscores the police’s commitment to solving even the most complex crimes.
