**Hyderabad, February 13, 2025** – The Telangana High Court has granted conditional permission to the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party to hold a protest meeting on February 18th. The meeting, limited to 3,000 participants and scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a junior college ground in Amangal, is a demonstration against the ruling Congress party’s alleged failure to keep six election promises made during the 2023 Assembly elections.
Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy imposed strict conditions, prohibiting provocative statements or slogans. The police retain the authority to take action against organizers should any conditions be violated. The BRS had petitioned the court after the Shadnagar police initially denied permission for the gathering.
