**New York, NY** – Seth Rogen has offered a brief, noncommittal response to James Franco’s recent statement declaring the end of their long-standing friendship. In a new interview with Esquire, Rogen acknowledged Franco’s comments but expressed a desire to avoid further discussion. “Honestly, I absorb so little media that it really wasn’t on my radar,” Rogen stated, adding that he wasn’t happy to be asked about the matter.

The two actors collaborated extensively for over two decades, beginning with their work on the 1999 show *Freaks and Geeks* and continuing through numerous successful films including *Knocked Up*, *Pineapple Express*, and *The Disaster Artist*. Their close professional and personal relationship seemingly fractured in 2018 following sexual misconduct allegations against Franco. Five women, including four former acting students, accused Franco of inappropriate behavior, leading to a lawsuit that was ultimately settled in 2021.

While Rogen previously distanced himself from Franco, stating his condemnation of abuse and harassment, he has remained largely silent on the specifics of their relationship’s demise.
