**SAN DIEGO, CA –** Two service members were rescued after their military aircraft crashed into San Diego Bay near Shelter Island Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 10:15 a.m., prompting a swift response from San Diego Fire-Rescue and other emergency services.

According to reports, the two aviators ejected from the plane before it crashed into the water. A charter fishing boat from H&M Landing, the *Premiere*, was first on the scene, rescuing the service members from the bay.
