**Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, February 12, 2025** – Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials intercepted a significant drug smuggling operation on Wednesday, seizing 250 kilograms of ganja from an abandoned car in Ramanathapuram. The ganja, reportedly transported from Andhra Pradesh, was found concealed in 125 two-kilogram packets within a vehicle parked along the Ramanathapuram to Rameswaram National Highway. Police believe the shipment was destined for Sri Lanka via sea. The seized contraband has been transported to Madurai for further investigation.
