Wed Feb 12 15:14:53 UTC 2025: ## Nellore Police Crack Kite Festival Murder in Four Days
**NELLORE, Andhra Pradesh, February 12, 2025** – Nellore police have swiftly solved the murder of 25-year-old Koduru Kalyan, arresting eight individuals just four days after the crime. The incident stemmed from a dispute during the Penna River Festival on January 16th, according to Nellore Town DSP P. Sindhu Priya.
Kalyan was killed on February 8th by Doniparthi Ajay Kumar and his accomplices, who used swords and motorcycles to attack him. The dispute originated during a kite-flying clash between Kalyan and Ajay Kumar during the festival. Police have recovered the weapons and motorcycles used in the crime.
The accused have been charged under Section 103 (1) read with 3 (5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhitha (BNS). DSP Priya commended the investigating officers, Nawabpet CI Shaik Anwar Basha, SI Shaik Rehman, and SI K. Shivaiah, for their efficient work in solving the case.
