**Mumbai, India –** Fitness YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, is facing intense criticism and legal action following controversial comments he made about parents and sex on comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show, “India’s Got Latent.” The remarks sparked outrage, leading to multiple FIRs (First Information Reports) being filed and the issue even being raised in Parliament.
Adding to the controversy, actress Poonam Pandey publicly defended Allahbadia on X (formerly Twitter), pleading for an end to the online trolling and urging forgiveness. Her intervention has itself drawn mixed reactions, with some praising her support while others criticizing her for defending what many consider offensive statements.
Allahbadia, who boasts over 16 million social media followers, has since issued a video apology, admitting a lapse in judgment. The Maharashtra Cyber Department has registered an FIR against the show and summoned over 40 individuals, including Allahbadia and Raina, for questioning.
In response to the escalating situation, Raina has removed all episodes of “India’s Got Latent” from his YouTube channel, stating his intention was solely to entertain and expressing his cooperation with the ongoing investigations.
