**NEW DELHI** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced Friday that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 will be held on **May 4th, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM**. The exam, a crucial gateway for aspiring medical professionals in India, will be conducted in pen-and-paper format.
Registration for NEET UG 2025 is now open at neet.nta.nic.in, with the deadline set for **March 7th**. A correction window will be available from March 9th to March 11th. Results are expected to be declared by **June 14th, 2025**.
This year’s exam reverts to the pre-COVID format, featuring 180 compulsory questions (45 each in Physics and Chemistry, 90 in Biology). The optional questions and extended time introduced during the pandemic have been removed. The exam will be offered in 13 languages.
In other news from the NTA, the results for JEE Main 2025 Session 1, along with answer keys and cutoff marks, will be released on February 12th at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The top 2.5 lakh candidates will qualify for JEE Advanced.
