**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, February 10, 2025** – President Droupadi Murmu participated in the Maha Kumbh Mela today, taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. Accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, she will also offer prayers at the Akshayavat and Bade Hanuman Temple.
Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Adityanath welcomed the President upon her arrival. The Maha Kumbh Mela, which began on January 13th and continues until Mahashivratri on February 26th, is considered the world’s largest spiritual and cultural gathering, attracting millions of devotees worldwide.
