Mon Feb 10 04:35:23 UTC 2025: ## Kohli Shows Compassion Despite Early Dismissal in India’s ODI Win

**Cuttack, Odisha:** Virat Kohli, despite a disappointing early dismissal in India’s second ODI against England, showcased his compassionate side during the match at the Barabati Stadium on Sunday. The star batsman, who missed the first ODI due to a knee injury, returned to the playing XI, much to the delight of the crowd. His inclusion was confirmed by Rohit Sharma during the toss, following confirmation from batting coach, Sitanshu Kotak.

Kohli’s heartwarming interaction with a ball boy went viral on social media. While fielding near the boundary, Kohli crossed the rope to shake the boy’s hand, a gesture that visibly pleased the young fan.

However, Kohli’s return to the crease was short-lived. He scored only six runs before being bowled by Adil Rashid in the 20th over, leaving the crowd stunned. While his form remains a topic of discussion, his brief innings ended with India at 150/2 after Shubman Gill’s earlier dismissal for 60.

Despite Kohli’s early exit, India secured a convincing four-wicket victory over England, clinching the three-match ODI series.
