Sat Feb 08 18:05:21 UTC 2025: ## PMK Leader Questions Transparency of Tamil Nadu Municipal Staff Exam

**Chennai, February 9, 2025** – Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) president Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss has demanded greater transparency in the Tamil Nadu municipal administration staff recruitment process. He expressed concerns over the repeated interviews conducted as part of the examination to fill 2566 vacancies, suggesting potential irregularities.

In a statement released on Saturday, Dr. Ramadoss criticized the Municipal Administration and Drinking Water Supply Department’s handling of the recruitment. He pointed out that candidates selected through an Anna University test underwent interviews in October and November, with further interviews and certificate checks occurring in January for the Sanitary Inspector post. The fact that Anna University is calling candidates for additional interviews, even after previous rounds, has raised serious questions about the fairness and transparency of the process, he argued.

Dr. Ramadoss called for the immediate release of interview and test scores, along with audio-visual recordings of the interviews, to ensure accountability and address the public’s concerns. He urged the state government to clarify the reasons behind the repeated interviews and address the perceived lack of transparency in the recruitment process.
