SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP, PA – A violent four-vehicle collision in Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County, claimed one life on Saturday afternoon. The accident, which occurred shortly before 1 p.m. at the intersection of Walnut Street (Route 22) and North 38th Street, involved a Susquehanna Township police SUV, a sedan, a blue pickup truck, and another vehicle.

The impact was severe, detaching the entire front end of the police SUV and scattering debris across the roadway. Two large tires and significantly damaged metal were found approximately 50 feet from the main collision site.

Pennsylvania State Police and an accident reconstruction team are investigating the cause of the crash. Walnut Street was closed for several hours but has since reopened. Susquehanna Township police have been contacted for comment. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
