**Lahore, Pakistan –** New Zealand cricketer Rachin Ravindra suffered a serious head injury during his team’s 78-run victory over Pakistan in a tri-nations ODI series match on Saturday. The 25-year-old was struck in the forehead by the ball while attempting a catch at deep square leg under the Gaddafi Stadium floodlights. A New Zealand Cricket spokesman confirmed Ravindra sustained a laceration that was treated on the field.
