The public affairs network will now provide links to books featured on its programming. By purchasing books through these affiliate links, viewers help fund C-SPAN’s operations. C-SPAN receives a small percentage of each qualifying purchase made via its website. The network clarified that any revenue generated goes into a general fund, and customer service issues regarding book purchases should be directed to the respective retailers. Additionally, C-SPAN offers MyC-SPAN users a free monthly download of up to four hours of Congressional hearings and proceedings.
