**New Delhi, India** – Arvind Kejriwal is poised to secure a fourth term as Delhi Chief Minister, according to Atishi, an AAP candidate and Delhi Minister, as vote counting for the Delhi Assembly elections commenced this morning. Atishi declared a resounding victory for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), describing the election as a battle between “good and evil,” and attributing the party’s expected success to the people’s support.
Atishi, contesting in the Kalkaji constituency, highlighted the AAP’s humble beginnings, stating they lacked both funds and manpower when the party was formed. She emphasized the party’s rejection of religious politics and vote-bank tactics, crediting their success to public affection and divine favor. While declining to predict a specific seat margin, she expressed confidence in a comfortable majority.
Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj echoed this sentiment, forecasting at least 40-45 seats for the AAP, ensuring the party’s formation of a new government. Bhardwaj also claimed that numerous attempts were made to undermine the AAP.
The February 8th elections saw a three-way contest between the BJP, AAP, and Congress. Final results are expected later today.
