**New Delhi, February 8, 2025** – Vote counting for the Delhi Assembly elections commenced today amidst tight security at 19 locations across the city. Candidates from various parties, including the BJP, AAP, and Congress, visited temples and shrines across the capital to offer prayers before the results are announced.
BJP’s New Delhi candidate Parvesh Verma, confident of victory based on exit polls, visited a Hanuman temple, stating his prayer was for a government aligned with Prime Minister Modi’s vision. AAP’s Kalkaji candidate Atishi framed the election as a battle between “good and evil,” expressing confidence in AAP’s continued success.
