**Hyderabad, February 8, 2025** – The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Telangana has arrested Puppala Srinivas, the Deputy Transport Commissioner of Warangal district, on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his income. A raid on Friday uncovered properties valued at ₹4.04 crore, including houses, land, vehicles, and gold and silver ornaments.
The seized assets include property documents for three houses (₹2.79 crore), sixteen open plots (₹13.57 lakh), and 15 acres and 20 guntas of agricultural land (₹14.04 lakh). The ACB suspects the actual market value of these assets is considerably higher. The discovery of 23 bottles of illicit foreign liquor led to a separate case being filed by the Shankarpally Excise police.
Srinivas was arrested and presented before a special court. The ACB is continuing its investigation to verify the existence of further assets.
