**Visakhapatnam, February 7, 2025** – The Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone (VSEZ) announced a significant surge in exports during the third quarter (October-December) of the current fiscal year. Exports totaled ₹69,733 crore, a 20% increase compared to the same period last year. This comprises ₹40,996 crore in service exports and ₹28,737 crore in merchandise exports.
Cumulative exports from April to December reached ₹1,99,396 crore, reflecting a 22% year-on-year growth. Service exports contributed ₹1,19,786 crore, while merchandise exports amounted to ₹79,610 crore.
The Duvvada VSEZ also experienced robust growth, with exports reaching ₹1,695 crore in the October-December period (a 28% increase) and ₹7,092 crore from April to December (a 24% increase).
Further bolstering the region’s economic activity, Super Ranila has received approval to establish an edible oil processing and manufacturing facility in Duvvada. This development is expected to further contribute to the growth of the VSEZ.
