**KASARAGOD, February 7, 2025** – Kumbala police arrested two men, Abbas (47) from Mangaluru and Abdullah (64) from Manjeswaram, on Thursday for possessing 990 grams of ganja. The suspects were apprehended during a routine vehicle check on Baithala Road in Chukkinadukka after allegedly attempting to evade police. The ganja was subsequently recovered. The arrests highlight ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the Kasaragod district.
