**Thrissur, Kerala (February 7, 2025)** – The Kerala State Budget 2025 has earmarked a significant sum for the development of Thrissur, allocating funds across various sectors, including education, healthcare, tourism, and culture. A total of ₹532.84 crore has been allocated to the health education sector alone.

Key highlights of the budget impacting Thrissur include:

* **Cultural Development:** ₹24.5 crore for Kerala Kalamandalam Deemed University, ₹9 crore for Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi, ₹5.75 crore for Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, and ₹3.45 crore for Kerala Sahitya Akademi.
