**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh – February 7, 2025** – Three men have been arrested in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh, for allegedly practicing witchcraft and causing panic among villagers. Police identified the accused as J. Vijay Kumar, L. Manikanta, and Ch. Haninath Babu. According to Kankipadu Circle Inspector J. Murali Krishna, the men had been performing pujas for several days, prompting a complaint from concerned residents. A woman who allegedly provided financial support to the accused remains at large. The arrests follow a police investigation initiated after the complaint was filed with the Vuyyur Rural police.
