**Hyderabad, India** – The much-anticipated Telugu film “Tandeel,” starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, has hit theaters, receiving mixed reviews. While praised for its romantic core and performances, the film’s portrayal of a Pakistan jail sequence draws criticism.

Directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vasu and Allu Aravind, “Tandeel” follows the love story of Satya (Sai Pallavi), a fisherwoman’s daughter, and Raju (Naga Chaitanya), a fisherman leader. Their romance is tested when Raju’s fishing trip inadvertently leads them into Pakistani waters, resulting in their arrest. Satya, fearing for Raju’s life, agrees to marry another man while awaiting his return. The film centers on their reunion and the challenges they face.

The romantic track, featuring Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya, is considered the film’s strongest point. Their chemistry and the emotional scenes are lauded, enhanced by Devi Sri Prasad’s background score and the popular songs “Hailesso” and “Shiva Tandava.” Naga Chaitanya’s performance as a fisherman balancing love and patriotism is also appreciated.
