**Avanigadda, Krishna District, February 7, 2025** – Krishna district police announced the arrest of two individuals, P. Brahmanandam and Sk. Hameed, for allegedly burglarizing four temples in the district over the past three years. Police recovered gold and silver ornaments worth approximately ₹16.05 lakh, a car suspected to be used in the crimes, and a silver melting machine.

The accused targeted Sri Alivelu Manga Rajyalakshmi Sametha Venkateswara Swamy temple in Puligadda, Saibaba temple in Avanigadda mandal, Srimannarayana Swamy temple in Ullipalem, and Sri Bala Parvathi Sametha Rameswaraswamy Vaarla Devastanam in Tekupalli. Police say the suspects conducted reconnaissance, targeting temples with inadequate nighttime security before breaking in and stealing valuables.

A team led by Avanigadda DSP T. Vidyasree and Circle Inspector G. Yuva Kumar apprehended the suspects after reviewing CCTV footage and tracking their movements. Superintendent of Police Gangadhar Rao commended the officers for their work. The arrests mark the culmination of a thorough investigation.
