**Hyderabad, February 7, 2025** – A popular YouTuber, Masthan Sai, has been arrested in Hyderabad following allegations of large-scale cybercrime and sexual exploitation. Police seized a 4TB hard drive from Sai containing hundreds of illegally recorded private videos and hacked personal data of multiple women, including teenagers.
The investigation began with a complaint filed by a woman who alleges Sai secretly recorded 40 video calls with her without consent, hacked her email accounts, and physically and sexually assaulted her. The hard drive also contained videos and data from a prominent South Indian eatery owner and a popular Telugu actor, both victims of Sai’s alleged hacking.
According to the FIR, Sai used various methods to obtain his victims’ data, including hacking into their online accounts and surreptitiously drugging them. He allegedly used false promises of marriage to manipulate his victims and attempted to intimidate them by filing false cases and sending drugs to their residences. The complainant reported that Sai broke into her home, attempted to strangle her, and held her brother hostage in an attempt to retrieve the hard drive.
The 4TB hard drive, along with two others believed to be in Sai’s possession, are being analyzed by the Telangana Forensic Science Laboratory. The police are working to identify all victims and gather further digital evidence. Sai is currently facing charges related to cybercrime, sexual exploitation, and assault. The investigation is ongoing.
