Mohammed Shafeeque, with 254.85 grams of MDMA. Shafeeque, a Bengaluru resident and driver, was apprehended near the Kozhikode mofussil bus stand after arriving on a tourist bus from Bengaluru.
Police investigations reveal Shafeeque allegedly used online platforms, primarily WhatsApp, to conduct drug deals, targeting young people in Bengaluru who had relocated for education or employment. He is suspected of utilizing a network of local drug distributors in Kozhikode to expand his operations. The arrest followed a tip-off to the Nadakkavu police.
