**Cuddalore, February 7, 2025** – A history-sheeter known as Siva alias ‘Odappu’ Siva has been detained under the Goondas Act in Cuddalore district. Siva, a resident of Chidambaram, was arrested on November 26, 2024, along with 14 others for peddling ganja in Annamalai Nagar. He has eight pending cases against him at Chidambaram and Annamalai Nagar police stations. The order for his detention under the Goondas Act was issued on Thursday following a recommendation by Cuddalore District Superintendent of Police S. Jeyakumar and approved by Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar.
