Venkatesh stated that the High Court’s decision effectively countered the opposition’s attempt to tarnish Siddaramaiah’s reputation. He emphasized that the ongoing Lokayukta inquiry renders a concurrent CBI investigation unnecessary and that preemptive allegations reveal the opposition’s true motives. The High Court ruling, he added, provides significant moral support to both Siddaramaiah and the Congress party.
