**Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir – February 7, 2025** – The Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), G.P. Singh, concluded a two-day visit to Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, where he reviewed the security situation and the force’s operational readiness.
During his visit, Mr. Singh inspected CRPF camps in Kalakote, Kopratop, and Thanamandi, focusing on the troops’ preparedness for counter-terrorism operations and maintaining law and order. He specifically visited the new Kopra Counter Insurgency camp in Kopratop, a region that has seen significant terrorist activity in recent years.
Mr. Singh also met with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on February 6th, briefing him on the CRPF’s preparedness. The CRPF chief emphasized the importance of dedication to duty while maintaining a healthy work-life balance for personnel. His visit is considered a morale boost for the troops engaged in counter-insurgency operations in the region.
