HYDERABAD, February 2 – Producer Allu Aravind has dispelled rumors of a request to the Telangana government to increase ticket prices for the upcoming film *Custody* (previously titled *Thandel*). The film, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, is slated for release on February 7th.
Addressing concerns at a press conference Thursday, Aravind clarified that a request for a ₹50 increase in ticket prices was made *only* to the Andhra Pradesh government, citing comparatively lower ticket rates in that state. He emphasized that no such request was submitted to Telangana authorities, where ticket prices currently stand at ₹295 and ₹395. *Custody*, produced under the Geetha Arts banner, has Bunny Vasu as producer with Allu Aravind presenting.
