**Bengaluru, February 6, 2025** – Sri Kumaran Public School students dominated The Hindu Young World Quiz 2025, held Wednesday at the Chowdaiah Memorial Hall. Mayank G. Mattur and Hemansu V.M., Junior category winners in 2024, secured first place in the Senior category (classes 7-9) this year. Their victory was described as “memorable” and a testament to their hard work. In the Junior category (classes 4-6), Arya S.K. and Medhansh N.M. from Presidency School, Nandini Layout, emerged victorious.
Over 800 teams competed in the quiz, presented by the State Bank of India and hosted by Quiz Master V.V. Ramanan. The Senior category saw strong performances from BNM Public School (first runner-up) and Delhi Public School (second runner-up). In the Junior category, Airaa Academy and Sri Kumaran’s CBSE secured the first and second runner-up positions, respectively.
Pradeep Nair, Deputy General Manager (B&O) of the State Bank of India, presented the awards and praised the long-standing partnership between SBI and The Hindu Group. The event showcased the impressive knowledge and competitive spirit of young quiz enthusiasts across Bengaluru.
